New Music Friday - Fresh Alternative Vibes
1. "Girl, You're So Money" by Tyson Kelly
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, Tyson Kelly is a New York Film Academy graduate that creates music which fuses gritty 60’s psych rock with trippy modern pop. We really dig this refreshing alternative track!
2. "Cheap Talk" by LENN
"Cheap Talk" is written by LENN and her collaborator, Lex (formerly of Xenomania). “Writing this song was therapy for me. I suppose I had a build-up of feelings that I didn’t know what to do with, but after a good vent, ‘Cheap Talk’ was formed....and now I’m over it [laughs],” LENN said about this song. This lyric video is very aesthetically pleasing, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
3. "FYA" by Matilda Eyre
Matilda Eyre’s first solo output into the world is a bold one. Her eerie and transfixing vibes are unbelievably beautiful! Delving deeper in to the song, ‘FYA’ (meaning ‘For Your Approval’), Eyre’s distinct and subtly gritted vocal sings of lost intentions of the unrestricted child mind, instead replaced by societal and familial expectations. Quite deep.
4. "Turn" by The Wombats feat. Dagny
The Wombats have been around for a long time. One of the few bands that consistently makes great music. This song is no exception! The alternative dance rock jams will really get you pumped! They are also on tour, check to see if they're comin' to your city! They always put on a banger show!
