Artist Spotlight: Gnarley Brown
As a film photographer I try to give the audience the feeling of being in the moment with the subject and me.The reason that I decided to shoot film was for the simple fact that I wanted to show the world the different faces of both creative and non-creatives in Rochester. Most of the photos I take are quite literally in the moment— patiently and intently waiting on that sweet spot. Some inspirations are Nicholle La Vann & Ysa Perez. I look to them for creative insight and the motivation to hustle (grinding to get photo shoots, publish images etc). Overall my main goal in photography is to show the world the things I see on the daily and also the talent that Rochester has to offer.
