Painting has long been a source of joy, meditation, and problem solving. I received my BS Studio Art from Nazareth College and went on to obtain my MS in Creative Arts Therapy, also from Nazareth College. Through my work as a therapist, the inextricability of mental health and environment was felt daily. This osmosis continues to inform my work today both in process and content. I create dreamscapes meshing figures with landscapes as expressions of the journey to wellness. My work focuses on themes of personal mythology, power dynamics, and dichotomous balance. Figures embody both strength and fragility, and geological processes often serve as metaphor for human experience. I am offering land in which one can take a quiet walk and consider their relationship with their emotional and physical environments.
