After more than two decades as founding member of the venerable Old 97’s and acclaimed singer–songwriter in his own right, Rhett Miller has crafted a trio of new projects that see him pushing his creative energies in hitherto untraveled directions. Among them are two utterly unique new albums – one solo, the other as part of Old 97’s – as well as his first ever book, a collection of subversive kids’ poems.

It's almost Valentine's day! Come hang out at The Yards and make some last minute Valentine's for the humans in your life that you appreciate. Get goofy, sexy, sassy, and gluey in your card making! $5 donation requested, materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well. This event will be hosted by Yards Member, Michaela Chan.
Learn how to turn the herbs growing in your backyard into the perfect Valentine's Day gift! In this class, students will craft with herbs that symbolize romance and love. Learn how to harvest, dry, and prepare herbs for infusing into oil then see how to turn herbal oils into salves/balms. Students will take home a completed salve ("Love Balm" made with Rose, Chocolate, and Red Clover), as well as create their own oil infusion that can be used as a massage oil or turned into a salve/balm at home. All materials, a DIY booklet, and freshly brewed tea will be provided.
