"'Cumberland' is a driving melancholic ballad for those who are feeling trapped and overwhelmed in these turbulent times. It is the second of four singles to be released by Indie/Post Rock group Old Fame. "
>>Releasing their second single of the year just a few days ago, Floated Magazine is happy to premiere the accompanying music video for Old Fame’s new single “Cumberland”. The band describes the single as a “driving melancholic ballad for those who are feeling trapped and overwhelmed in these turbulent times”. The music video, created by drummer Doug Kelly, acknowledges our challenging and surreal times featuring Instagram footage of various empty streets, hands being washed, and faces with surgical and homemade masks on them. The music video is a homage to the unprecedented times of today, and appropriately ends with vocalist Ben Armes cathartically belting out that “you gotta fight till to the end”. Although, we are in difficult times the song and video end with a message of hope and perseverance. Check out the video below and be sure to be on the lookout for Old Fame as they plan to release two more singles soon.
